Artists coming from eight countries have shown their talent in music and dancing at the 16th International Roma Dance Festival in Sátoraljaújhely (North-East Hungary).
The artists visited several neighbouring villages to familiarize the most possible people with the culture of other countries. According to head organizer, Tibor Lakatos this festival has the longuest history among the similar Romani cultural programs. Ambassador of Sweden to Hungary, who was the head-patron of the event, Cecilia Björner said that it is essential for Hungary that the Roma living in different countries can meet here and show a small part of their culture. In our film we tried to reflect the extraordinary feeling that prevailed throughout the festival.
