„The Roma wedding” describes the way in which the Roma buy their wives. An old man tells the story of the way in which the girls were stolen if two Roma were falling in love and the boy’s father didn’t have enough money to pay for the future wife. But, if the girl was payed and she didn’t behave in her new family, if the mother-in-law wasn’t satisfied by her young daughter-in-law, the girl could have been sent back home. But if she was liked by her man and his mother, after one year or two, the girl’s father was giving her the dowry, which sometimes was much more then the money the girl received when she got married. The old man says that also today, some of the Roma buy their wives. And that the price of a girl who is ready to be married is at about several tens of thousands of euros. Depending on the possibilities.
